Research interest

Catherine Amiel is mainly specialized in the field of polymer self-assemblies in solution and at interfaces and is particularly interested in the design and study of nanostructured materials with potential applications at the interface between chemistry and life science. Her current research projects include host-guest copolymers assemblies, amphiphilic copolymers self-associations in aqueous solutions, multistimulable hydrogels, structure and properties of clay-polymer hydrogels, drying of polyelectrolyte silica nanoparticles suspensions in aqueous media.
