RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
I am keen on organic chemistry reaction mechanism studies either from its experimental aspect (kinetic, selectivities, intermediates…) or from a theoritical point of view (DFT studies).
My favourite reagents are organobismuths (organometallic with a lone pair on the bismuth center even on its +(III)oxidation state, Bi being under strong relativistic effects) and methyl coumalate (biobased renewable unsaturated heterocycle) which reactivity is strongly characterised by his multiple electrophilic center.
